William Richmond Witherell Papers

The William Witherell papers contain diaries from Witherell's time as a Williams College student and letters Witherell wrote to his wife Katherine Witherell during his time deployed to France during World War I. Several of the letters have had sections redacted by military censors. Also included in the collection is the Williams College 1907 Senior Class book in which Mr. Witherell recorded many details about the lives of his classmates after graduation.
