David Lawrence Belding class notes
Scope and Contents
The David Lawrence Belding class notes include several notebooks of course notes taken by Belding (Williams 1905) during his time at Riverview Military Academy in 1900, Williams from 1900-1905, Harvard in 1907, and a course at the Association Institute Cambridge, MA Y.M.C.A. in 1911. The collection dates from 1900-1912.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Gift of Emily Eldredge (great-granddaughter of Belding) (Williams 1997), April 27, 2021.
Programs including: Cap N' Bells (1902-1903), field and track (1902 and 1905), basketball (1903), Dramatic Club (undated, 1903, and 1905), Football schedule (1908) were filed in the Subject Files (MC227) in corresponding folders. A 1902 Williams' calendar was also filed in the Subject Files (MC227).
Notebook covers were very brittle, pages of notes were removed from notebook covers, covers placed in mylar and filed with pages of notes in acid-free folders.
