Lawrence Raab papers
Scope and Contents
The Lawrence Raab papers contain the papers of the Harry C. Payne Professor of Poetry, Lawrence Raab. The papers include course syllabi, introductions to poetry readings, correspondence, poetry and English assignments and exercises, workshop notes, activity reports, a Mellon Grant propsal, and sample applications for residencies at two artists communities at Yaddo located in Saratoga Srings, NY and the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, NH. The majority of the papers relate to Raab's writing, primarily poetry, and include comments from other writers. Prof. Raab has provided his own inventory to the collection, paying special attention to his poems.
