Scope and Contents
The Cook Family papers includes correspondence, course notebooks, books, and photograph albums. The bulk of the collection is correspondence between Charles Bennet Cook III (Williams 1946) and his parents, Charles Bennet Cook Jr. (Williams 1912) and Mrs. Charles B. Cook while Cook III was attending Williams. There is also correspondence between Charles Bennet Cook Jr. and his parents during and before Cook Junior's time at Williams. The Photograph albums appear to have belonged to Charles B. Cook Jr. and include photos of the Cook family and friends as well as Cook Junior at Williams. The class notebooks also belonged to Cook Jr. showing that he had a strong interest in astronomy. The collection dates from 1906-1950.
